Product Overview
Two component polyurethane waterproof coating belongs to the category of two-component chemical reaction curing waterproof materials. Component A is a prepolymer with isocyanate end caps obtained by the condensation of polyether and isocyanate, while component B is a colored liquid composed of plasticizers, curing agents, thickeners, accelerators, and fillers. When in use, mix components A and B evenly in proportion, apply them to the surface of the waterproof base layer, and frequently crosslink and cure at high temperatures to form a rubber like elastic coating, thus achieving waterproof effect.
Scope of application
Suitable for waterproofing construction of various civil and industrial buildings such as floors, basements, bathrooms, and swimming pools. More suitable for waterproofing projects in areas with complex shapes and vertical and horizontal pipelines.
Construction method
Grassroots requirements
The surface of the base layer should be compacted and leveled using cement mortar, and must be fully cured without any looseness, sanding, or peeling, and should meet the design requirements.
The concrete surface needs to be roughened, milled or shot blasted.
The moisture content of the bridge deck should not exceed 15%.
Construction operation
After the grassroots cleaning is completed, key areas such as internal and external corners, expansion joints, and construction joints should be treated.
After the key parts are processed, they should be coated with base oil according to the construction requirements, in order to improve the bonding strength and shear strength.
The base oil can be applied or sprayed with waterproof coating afterwards.
The waterproof layer should comply with the design standards and specifications. And fiber reinforcement layers can be added according to design requirements. Before laying asphalt, a method of spreading fine-grained asphalt mixture on the surface of the waterproof layer can be used to create an isolation layer to prevent damage to the coating.
Weak links should be reinforced with tire body materials.
